A safe place for difficult biblical questions

Have a question you've been afraid to ask? Ask On Purpose.

You don't have to arrive with polished words or perfect faith. Bring the question honestly, and make room for a careful search.

Ask the question. Search the Scriptures. Seek the Holy Spirit.

There is room here for the questions that stay with you.

A conversation grounded in Scripture, held with humility, and open to the Spirit's leading.

Our Story

Two brothers. One honest pursuit.

ASK ON PURPOSE began with brothers James Alexander Sr. and Dominic Rock, who both grew up in the Philadelphia area. Neither grew up in a strict religious household, but both were taught about Jesus. They are 19 years apart in age, yet the Holy Spirit is not restricted by age. In time, each pursued a deeper journey of seeking biblical truth and developing a relationship with God.

When they come together, ego is checked at the door—not to prove who knows more, but to search Scripture, challenge assumptions, ask difficult questions, and remain open to the Holy Spirit's guidance. That posture matters more than having the quickest answer. It is the posture they want to share here.

About / Mission

Truth deserves reverence. Questions deserve room.

ASK ON PURPOSE exists to make honest biblical inquiry feel possible. Scripture is the authority. Our interpretations are not—and we hold them with humility, patience, and a willingness to keep learning.

We are here to search carefully, listen well, and seek the Holy Spirit together. The anonymous answer flow is a place to begin that conversation, with private community tools still to come in a later chapter.

“Check the ego at the door. Open the Word. Stay teachable.”

A note on what we share

ASK ON PURPOSE offers a place for biblical questions and thoughtful exploration. Please search the Scriptures for yourself, seek the Holy Spirit, and use wise pastoral or professional care when your circumstances call for it.
